I have to admit that i found almost every keyboard solo that Alex plays, boring as hell. Actually, the most boring thing in ROF are the keyboard solos :p

^ Well, since I've heard lots of keyboard player besides Alex I think I agree with you 60%

Alex has his cool solos, for example I really like the Lands Of Immortals' and Lord Of The Thunder' (though it's not the fastest one) and some from the POTD (album)

Land of Immortals (especially the live version) rocks! his facial expressions are also awesome when he performs his part. You can clearly see he put all his passion in it. :D

Probably not the best..
But i just love the keyboard solo on "Raging Starfire".Starting around 03:12 and then the full shred under the chorus 03:24-03:37 That particular part is amazing! I just wish it was a bit louder in the mix,but then again theres a lot happening there already.
